Default krank vent

Tonight I let the car idle i happen to see like light smoke out of the front krank vent. (has a k&n filter at the end) so I was wondering about that so then I came to the conclusion that my kv's failed because:

1. Noticed my oil consumption to have gone up a bit
2. Noticed the blow-by coming out of the fron vent
3. when I pop the dipstick out i don't hear that pshshshsht sound anymore that is reliveing pressure from the system.
4. The front kv makes like a popping or farting noise. Not sure how to describe it.

Anyone had the same symptoms with failed KV's?

I had a kv fail during a tuning session ... the kv between the pcf and intake. The failure caused my dipstick to pop and spray oil due to the excess pressure.

The mfg replaced the kv. We suspect a backfire in the intake on start up caused the kv to fail.

I guess in my case the front one failed. My dipstick will not ever popout because there is no pressure being created inside. The front KV is prett much in an open state at idle. That's incorrect from what I understand. Negative pressure should be going out the KV that goes to the intake...

Yeah, I'm having a problem with mine and even PM'ed Rashed but he never got back to me on it.

I need a new set since I'm having a problem with them leaking some under boost and I only have about 2000 miles on them.

Gee...$100 for a set of check valves we can buy for $30 at mcmaster and now we're getting failures? Don't they come with a lifetime warranty or something for that price?
