lil problem with cooling system-
Sucks man. Just replaced the radiator myself. The top plastic end tank cracked... not sure why, but it did....
Yeah, this car is a PITA to bleed fully... I hope to get it back tomorrow (tuner is finishing up wiring in the oil pressure sensor and the EGT sensor into the EMS).

Most of the overheating problem in the s2k is from air/incomplete bleeding of the air in the coolant. IMO the air buble get traped around the fan switch, produces lower temperature reading on the switch and doesn't turn on the fan. The stock cooling system is fairly good unless you have huge amount of power on the track.
I usually chop a plastic bottle of water/coke and tape the cap end with plastic tape until it fits snugly into the radiator. Then fill the radiator up with coolant a lot higher than the bleed point, run the enigne with the heater on for around 5-10 mins and crack open the bleeder. Repeat this a few times and you should be right.

well when I got home I also opened up the bleeder on the manifold and a shit load of air came out, I thought it was becasue the rad may have been low due to the over flow tank overflowing. sound like I had just an air bubble?
