Would this work with the engine off? (Used as a parking brake)

but what if your battery dies?
The reason why I am asking is because I want to install a BBK (All around) on my car.......but I also want a functional parking brake. I would like to go with Stop Tech but the parking brake will not be functional. That leaves me with only one choice, which is Wilwood. If this line locker can work as a parking brake then I will go with Stop Tech.

You definitely don't want the solenoid to be in the passive closed position and require power to release the brake pressure. Imagine cruising on the highway, not even going all that fast, when all of a sudden, you lose power to that solenoid and lock up your brakes. It's disaster waiting to happen.

i have a staging brake as my E-Brake. using a CNC staging brake modified for my OEM ebrake handle if you want a BBK and want to remove the oem ebrake setup.
keep in mind i have an EVO.
my rear wilwoods use brake pressure to stop (obv lol)
you just run 2 new brake lines from the master, T into 1 to one side of the CNC brake, and then back out the CNC brake and T into the rear 2 calipers.
now i have a hydraulic ebrake instead of cable.
