Well got bad news the clutch was installed wrong. But it's fine. They are going to have the machine shop check if the flywheel is true.

That's not the bad news.

The crank has play in it. It's moving back and forth. I have no idea how this happend since the car was never turned on. I don't know if the bottom end needs a rebuild not or what. They are dropping the oil pan tomorrow and going to see what needs to be done. I'm pretty much devastated and don't know how or why this happend.

What was installed wrong on the set up ??? And thats very strange. Inless the clutch install shifted something in the bottom end

i dont see how a clutch install can lead to u messing up ur bottom end especially if u never started the car...u should pm the person u bought the setup from and find out why they decided to sell

I got it from BrockB. He pulled it out since he went with a V160 swap. Im not sure how this happend or if it was something that had happend before. Im not sure what its going to take to fix this problem either.

The only thing installed wrong on the clutch was what Kyle mentioned. The spacer discs were not aligned correctly like he showed.

not a new short block but definitely will need to disassemble and replace thrust washer and check out the crank. sorry man, keep with it
