.82 hotside.

Man I haven't seen anyone go gtx28 yet that's an instant spool turbo. It's a decent sized turbo not like those small ones on the gtis, cruz, optima sxl, . They got them baby turbos lol..

But honestly to save the most money u should go with smaller hotside like .71? Gt3571?

Mid range is significantly improved. That is with a turbo that is probably a little too oversized as well, you can make a ton more power down low/mid with a slightly smaller one. Again, why would you brag about an NA power band on a turbo car lol?
I ended up with 530whp at 19psi when retuned. My exhaust manifold was leaking before since the manifold Bolts weren't doing their job. Crazy power on full e85. I just run 91 and 5 gallons of e85 now.

I apologize, but what does that have to do with what we are talking about?

I am about to get my car back from the Tuners, I chose a GTX3076R with 1.01ar hotside. I wanted the spool to be slightly laggy then a rocket ship of boost to redline because let's face it that is what makes a car feel fast.

G-series is a badass turbo, but would also require a change to the turbo kit setup as the G-series uses a v-band inlet on the turbine housing. The GTX3071R would be nearly a drop-in replacement with the only difference being a slight difference in compressor housing outlet location. But that can easily be taken up by the flex in the IC piping. The G-series is really a motorsport turbo too, so the extra cost may not be worth it for a primarily street driven car. Well, unless one must have the absolute best
