Default Lovefab fittings

Here's the fittings that came with the Lovefab kit:

Can anyone tell me which one goes into the sump, and which end goes in? I guess the specs of the hole to be drilled and thread to be tapped would be good too.

Those are the oil feed fittings...the BIG lines are the oil return lines, it should be a weld-on aluminum -10 fitting threaded into the end of one of the blue fittings

The way I installed it.

Aluminum fitting goes inside the block from the old oil pressure sensor threads. Big brass fitting follows and bolts up to aluminum fitting. Followed by the smaller (I belive 10mm fitting) which bolts on top of the brass fitting. Stock oil pressure sensor will bolt to the end of the brass fitting. The last fitting will bolt to the turbo between the two coolant return line fittings on the turbo.

I just drilled a hole in the oil pan and use the supplied aluminum fitting that was attached to the adapter line (blue fitting). One side is flat and the other side has threads. Flat side will be welded to the outer side of the pan.

Sorry if this doesn't make sense. Is this correct Coday?

Just a suggestion , but this fitting works A LOT BETTER than the ones pictured above.
It uses the right thread "size and pitch" and has two ports for oil pressure and oil feed. If you dont use the extra port it comes with a plug as well.
Works great!
www.Tunertoys.com in fitting and flanges 2nd page.

Our dual fitting has the correct male end to mate with the factory oil sensor port on you Honda engine block (Male 1/8 BSP). On the opposite end is the correct female end to accept the factory sensor (Female 1/8 BSP). On two sides of the fitting are the oil take-off ports, where you can install any two 1/8 NPT fittings for feeding your turbo, VTEC, or oil gauge! That's right NPT and BSP threads in one fitting! No more adapters and mismatched thread pitches! The dual fitting has an additional NPT port on the opposite side, which cannot be see in the photo. This port is hidden on the bottom of the fitting in the photo.

In waht way is this better than the bits supplied with the LoveFab kit? Are any of the threads incorrect on the LoveFab fittings? I don't mind messing threads on the fittings but I don't want o screw with the thread on the block.

Thanks guys. I went out to the fabricators and found the piece you are referring to. The hex end will be welded to the side of the sump with a hole drilled through. The threaded side projects outwards and the -10 AN fitting screws onto it. Makes complete sense now.

The honda block has 1/8BSB while the adapter supplied has 1/8NPT.

Same thread size, but different pitch.
The tunertoys has the proper 1/8BSP pitch.

In other words, they both work, but the tunertoys is the proper fit.
