Default M20 1.5 vs 3/4-16UNF?

Looking for a way to get my oil filter out of the way to make oil changes a bit easier and not have to remove my downpipe. The SOS 90* housing is an intriguing option and looks like they are using the Ford Performance M-6880-A50 housing which comes in a 3/4-16 thread pitch. Question being can I use a OEM honda M20-1.5 filter on a 3/4-16 oil filter housing? Looks like the thread pitch is the same and they both use a 60* thread angle, I'm not sure if SOS is machining their own fittings to use with this housing but I'm going to guess that they don't.

Thread size is close but definitely not the same, I'd be very surprised if it would work out in the real world.

3/4 is 19mm..you may beable to retap it to the 20x1.5..would be a little sketchy though

Looks like it's close but not worth the risk for me. I guess SOS must be modifying the housing and banjo bolt on their kit then.

Yeah, for $200 you get an oil filter too from SOS. Not really saving much buying the ford version and trying to mod it.

It adapts to fit m22x1.5 filters. At least thats what I have on mine.

I believe they machine the large bolt / fitting to match the oem m20x1.5. If you can rethread the bolt fitting, then maybe it'd be worth it.

I would go through it and deburr the edges. The edges on the fitting had some semi-loose shavings on it.
