The K27 is Hilarious? I miss the joke bus on this one.....or did you have some bad experiences with this turbo and that the turbo itself is the joke? I have no experience with it so I can't comment.

I do not think flexer is trying to call Geoff out. He is just trying to learn by asking questions, well that is what I got out of it anyway. I could be wrong though IDK. I know I will be googling emap and imap lol, I'm sure with little success.

Rob!,

You thought the conversation between me and Geoff was me trying to rouse him???........now be honest, did you read the entire thread Rob!? Geoff and I talk on many forums, and have talked on the phone many times. I look at Geoff as more of a mentor then someone to antagonize. He is one of the few trained engineers in this field making head-way into the study and development of the aftermarket scene, instead of babbling idiots that own a "tuner" shop and graduated from high school, and feel like they are going to CHANGE the tuner world with there online forum knowledge.

Maybe reading comprehension is not your thing Rob!, but for anyone else that also has read this post wrong...... no one is calling anyone out....People are just having a discussion on a forum trying to learn from each other to better there knowledge and walk away feeling some edification and empower themselves with something they might be able to use in a real world application.

I think that's what forums are for right?

So where you NOT trying to rouse Rob with this comment ?

I read the whole thread and my reading comprehension is fine. The fact of the matter is your posts do come off a bit arrogant. If you do post and talk with Geoff on other forms that doesn't really defend your situation because I go to other forums also but I always come back to S2KI because there is usually a level of respect and camaraderie here that doesn't seem to exist anywhere else.
But if you say that your here to learn and to help myself learn as with others on this forum then perhaps just try wording your posts a little different so you come off more like your maintaining to be. Of course this is just a open forum so you can take it for what you like its just a suggestion.

Rouse Rob!? I only responded to his comment that I was trying to.....let me put it in his words : "call out" Geoff.

He worded it as if I was in a fight or something. Like this was the UFC and I was going to "call out" my next opponent.

I thought my word choice of reading comprehension was acceptable being that I don't think I was trying to "call out" or "fight" with anyone.

I sincerely hope that this comment is not directed at me since I was commenting in this thread. I am a degree'd mechanical engineer, not some high school drop out lackey. Geoff and I bounce ideas between each other all the time, so I do know a thing or two about turbocharging. In fact my senior engineering project at Lafayette was designing a FI specific intake manifold, which did extremely well. Speaking of which Geoff can you send that back to me? Its been at Full Race for 5 years now?
Evans,

Let me go back and quote what I said"

QUOTE: "I look at Geoff as more of a mentor then someone to antagonize. He is one of the few trained engineers in this field making head-way into the study and development of the aftermarket scene, instead of babbling idiots that own a "tuner" shop and graduated from high school, and feel like they are going to CHANGE the tuner world with there online forum knowledge."

I don't see your name anywhere there. Only thing I see is a reference to a group of clowns. You want me to kiss your butt for a little bit? Is that what you want? You want to know what I think about YOU Evans...... FINE!

********The following is my own personal opinion of what I have derived about Evans. Seems to be a pretty competent group. Most of there posts have been mathematically based and are very informative. I have never been to or used there shop or services, but a quick search on S2ki will yield you with more than enough people that can't say enough about there services. There tuning seems to be on par with the understanding VE and MBT tuning methods and most of there dyno graphs they post have torque curves so flat you could eat off them. Just from there online reputation one could conclude that they seem to have there game face on and are running a very competent shop. One that could be compared with the likes of shops like full-race, and AMS performance. Once again this is all I know from what I have read on the forums about them. I have never talked to them, or had work done by there shop.*********

Evans, you and Rob! seem to always be on the defensive. Why so? Nothing I have said should have been offensive to anyone but the immature, and the un-educated, yet you seem to twist up the words in your mind to turn it into some kind of attack. Evans, you turned it into a attack on yourself, and Rob! turned it into a attack on Geoff.

Why so defensive you two? Did someone slander you in the past because I am a avid forum reader and I haven't seen it.

Flexer,

It amazes me that in some of your posts you can sound so intelligent but yet on the other hand you pretend or at least I hope you are pretending and its not just ignorance. That the little sarcastic comments and read between the lines posts of yours get you called out. Then you simply post up the quote and say I don't understand and then even after I post up with a polite suggestion you make it seem like you don't get it. So I'll try a different approach I'll try your approach:

Next you'll say something stupid like, "maybe I should get a inline pro log manifold so I can put out over 500 hp like the other guys with the log manifold since its more efficient" :-)

Clearing up the confusion

Geoff's opinion I usually accept as GOSPEL but in this instance we could say he is going to have a little bias. :-)

I always resort to logic and math instead of forum bickering

Look people. I don't want to argue, I just want the math and evidence to lead me to a conclusion.

But maybe we should just be like madjdm and post smiling faces like this . When your done being ignorant madjdm, come and join in the conversation. I get on these forums to LEARN and grow not look at little smily faces, but thanks though.

Now honestly after you have read some of your comments do you understand how people might call you out with regard to your posts because
comments like that don't help anyone become more educated as you put it nor are they relevant to the topic of the thread. Again I'll say its just a public forum so take it as you will but perhaps you can at least understand what I'm trying to point out to you as others have tried to do in the past.
