Yeah, I don't doubt the vacuum creating properties for a second, how much vacuum, don't know, but some is better than none (and of course there is the weight saving). I just wish Reichard would make bigger than 3.6"

Do you run CW or CCW on the S2000? I ask because my SHO runs a CCW setup and had RR make a custom pulley for it. My first RR pulley was a regular CW cut and I didn't notice any issues, but the pulley was also larger. I located my idler pulley to allow the most belt wrap as I could possibly get; so large that the belt going to the SC pulley runs within 1mm of the belt coming off the back side of the pulley.

I'm using Gates belts. My first few were Greenbacks and now running regular Gates.

I don't think it is the holes that make the difference...rather the cross cut slots that actually grab the belt...or so the man himself says.
