This would be the time to go with the proven combo of AP1 engine/AP2 tranny, though... Would be more of a JDM/EDM AP2. But that would also involve swapping out the gauge cluster, as well...

thanks for all the constructive criticism guys. i used the oil fittings that came with the kit, because they were tight as hell, even when I first started the car. The hose must have popped off due to increased oil pressure.
And I honestly thought the light was coolant temp, not realizing that the coolant temp sensor doesn't even work with ems. I had been trying to activate the rad fan.
The car is in my garage, but I will be towing it to my friends 3 car garage so we can pull the pan and inspect everything. If it needs to be overhauled, I will go ahead and get some 9:1 pistons and good rods and go that route.
