definitely you spun a rod bearing due to the lack of oil. time for a new bottom end.

when the oil light comes on that doesnt mean " ok drive it for a minute " its basically saying " you have 2 qts or less turn off the engine or blow it " . you blew it, sorry man. You needs a new engine.

this could happen going with a supercharger too. its not that supercharger or even the turbos fault. when you first go boost you have to check for oil leaks every time you drive it. IF the oil light comes on DONT DRIVE IT TURN IT OFF AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. No matter where you are. get it towed if you have too.

Hate to say it, but its more than likely installer error and not part issues.

MY06 engine will not do him any good. He is not DBW. He would need the ECU/harness along with it, which would be more of a PITA to change than just unclipping and removing the OEM engine, and clipping a new one into his current harness.

This would be the time to go with the proven combo of AP1 engine/AP2 tranny, though... Would be more of a JDM/EDM AP2. But that would also involve swapping out the gauge cluster, as well...

thanks for all the constructive criticism guys. i used the oil fittings that came with the kit, because they were tight as hell, even when I first started the car. The hose must have popped off due to increased oil pressure.

And I honestly thought the light was coolant temp, not realizing that the coolant temp sensor doesn't even work with ems. I had been trying to activate the rad fan.

The car is in my garage, but I will be towing it to my friends 3 car garage so we can pull the pan and inspect everything. If it needs to be overhauled, I will go ahead and get some 9:1 pistons and good rods and go that route.
