I have also driven their street clutch and the chatter is terrible compared to the SOS and ACT w/ Factory PP

Just like any puck clutch they are not street able.

I have seen first hand that turbo do 800whp+ on a k20 motor, so yes it does gain efficiency as the boost ramps up. One of the main reasons why I want to go back to a 5857...the 6262 is not a great street turbo comparatively.
Here's a video I shot down in Miami a few months ago. Check the hatch out (2nd car). That's a 6262.

It seems that the 6262 is not that efficient at low boost and was gaining efficiency as I went past 18PSI but I did do not have enough data to verify. As for the setup it seems to lose its efficacy of 7500RPM and I think it is an exhaust flow restriction that is causing this. Currently I am running a 0.63A/R on my 6262 and based on all the dyno’s I have seen and this testing at 5857 w/ 0.82 A/R is probably the perfect turbo for my use. The exhaust is flowing well but I believe I could also benefit from a 3” cutout and downpipe. I am debating on purchasing an 0.82 A/R back housing and testing it to see how it effects the spool and topend. I still think that Inline Pro has the right idea using the 5865 0.63 A/R on our cars for street use. Hmm, maybe I will try and get a 5862 and try it but not matter what I am splitting hairs. Anyone want to lend me their trubo’s for testing?

My 6262 JB with .82 AR ex housing is fully spooled to 29 psi by 5150 rpm on 110 race fuel and 4930 rpm on e85.

I'm sure you mean SOS and ACT pp with a factory disk.

I don't see how that is possible, do you have a data log? I would love to find a way to get mine to spool faster but without displacment there is not much that can be done.

Have you calibrated on your map sensor, ie hooked up a certified guage and pulled a vaccum and pressurized to verify?

Its what the data log on the AEM showed per my tuner. I have a very well flowing manifold and calibrated AEM 3.5 bar map sensor. E85 is well known for spooling turbo's a little faster due to the added fuel being burned and cooling properties.

There are also tuning ways to get your turbo to spool faster.

No. By then you'll be on a built motor and want more power
A built motor isn't going to make him any faster... If you want better response then by all means check out the smaller turbo, it's only 1400 or so..

Your at the crossroads Scott, any more power and you are forking out some serious cash for trans, clutch, diff etc.. 15k land.

I am now having one of these made locally by my fabricator. Still no issues?
Made one myself last friday, drove over 300 miles on it since then and not one smoke show.
Its really simple to put on of those together. took $15 and 15 minutes.
