Wow, what a beautiful kit. I love the v-bands for easier installation/removal, and it also allows tighter radius bends that regular bolt flanges don't allow. Question is, what size is that downpipe? I love how the dumptube is routed back into the downpipe for a street kit. Of course, if you just care about max HP, you probably want the dumptube just going to the atmosphere directly..

While there's absolutely nothing like the sound of a wastegate opening up and dumping to atmosphere, having a dumptube go through the exhaust is ideal for the street (at least to me).
The V-bands are nice in that they allow more degrees of freedom to allow tweaking the pipes for the perfect fitment every time. Personally though I would prefer flanges as they offer torsional rigidity.

The DP is 2.5”, honestly it looks very small but the losses should be minimal. Per Mase’s testing he only saw a 10HP loss over having a 6” dump to atmosphere. To me even a 20HP loss does not mean much at the power level I am shooting and knowing there is ample room for the piping.

As far as the recirced dump tube is concerned it is fine for a race car but I consider it dirty. Every time I am in a car that has it dumped it reminds me of a 70’s pickup I had seen with piping from a kids jungle-jim as the exhaust.

Dang Scott that looks nice. Hopefully I will have a lot of my kit re-installed this week. That rubber band stunt set me back about a day of work...lol

Does the turbo feed from the vtec sensor or is it just removed for clearance?

It is removed, or at lease not used with the AEM EMS. If needed a banjo bolt with a small hose can be used to relocate?
