Default Mase kit installed, couple questions

I used to have a greddy kit and tuned it with AEM EMS and mase did the tune. it was an internally wg setup and with the new mase kit i obviously had to reroute my boost solenoid to a different setup. the filter was on spot #3 but is now in the middle in #2. i hooked up the vacuum lines per the instructions from mase and i test drove it a little earlier and it runs fine

will switching the layout of the boost solenoid around cause the car not to want to go into much boost? i was only getting 2-3 psi driving it around but i wasn't hitting the gas hard because i realize it really isn't tuned for the kit. the boost gauge would go -20 to 0 pretty quick and then kinda stall out there and i expected it would be difficult to NOT go into boost driving around (used to the small greddy turbo) i have a 5857bb if that matters.

i don't know much at all about aem and the software so i didn't want to drive it hard because i don't have a laptop to hook up to my ems and datalog the afr's and boost (i'm a mac user and i need windows installed to use it) if anyone has a copy of windows free send it to me. i already have bootcamp

but you cant test if the car is boosting properly on a tune that will not handle it. basically, your testing the car out could pop the motor.

is that worth it?

no.

ask mase for a base tune, then you can test this stuff out.

or bring tools with you and when mase tunes it if tehres a problem you fix it then.
