Default need help on identifying turbo kit

Hi, everyone.

As of now i'm not an s2k owner yet, but i have the opportunity to buy a used one from a used car dealership (very reputable place)
The car has 15,000 miles.
It has a turbo kit installed. i would like to know if any of you know which kit this is, how good it is,
If there are any known issues with it, what i have to expect maintenance wise, ...
Are there any particular questions i should ask at the dealership?

I tried the search but couldn't find anything.

thanks a lot, people.

Sure has a big air filter!

Not sure if this is a kit, might be a custom setup. What EMS is it running? How much boost?

i don't know the boost level, havent gone out to talk to the reps yet. if they dont know the boost gauge will tell me i guess...
it would surprise me if its more than 7 Psi tho.

it looks to me that the EMS is a Greddy piggyback (thats what is looks like to me)

btw, most impressive s2000 you got there, congrats!

it looks like the ultimate racing kit, and thats not a piggyback its a boost controller. U.R. is a fairly good kit with low maintenance. and descent power output

are you sure? the piping on the UR kit is all polished from what can see in the pictures, also the turbo seems bigger to me and the filter and FMIC look different.

it might be a custom setup setup like geist suggested.

anyway, (sorry for all the questions) what can i generally expect with a turbo S2000 on the maintenance side? i am totally new to this car, and i've done quite some research on turbo applications, but i'm far from an expert.

i'm going to take an extensive look at it next weekend. how do i find out which EMS it is running? (provided the dealer doesn't know)

thanks for posting guys!

Is this car located in Atlanta?

That breather is a BIG no-no. If you buy it, you should look into replacing that...

No, not the air filter, the little breather filter you see coming out of the valve cover. You need to create a vacuum like situation and that thing is not going to do the job The PCV system uses vacuum to dispell pressure in the crankcase. The breather won't create this vacuum as well.

The reason I asked if it was in Atlanta is because there is a red custom turbo'd S2k with a breather element and broken differential that has been sitting in this shop for nearly a year now. The mechanic there was talking about how the owner was very stubborn and advised him not to have the breather.
