Default Mase Manifold Issue

Any other Mase users have this issue? My Mase manifold touches the TCT; more specifically, the access cover bolts.

is this a test fit or do you have the exhaust gasket on there?

Yes I had the same problem, you have (2) options.

1.) Run a Double gasket and get button head screws for cover
2.) Metal spray (build up) the front side of the head flange and remachine or machine the rear of the flange

Per Mase, his machinest was not chucking up the manifolds correctly and was cutting the angle incorrectly.

You can check out my build and see the details on mine.

The flange should look like this (Mine was flat on the front and raised face in the rear)

Thanks for the pics. The manifold is only hitting one of the bolts; I may just run one bolt. My flange looks identical to yours.

Try loosening the manifold bolts and see if you can adjust the manifold in the best position and then tighten it down.

my mase manifold cracked so i sent it back to him and he reinforced one spot and the head flanged was warped so i had to get the head flanged milled. so now it touches the bolt on the timming chain tenchioner.

what i did was run 2 oem honda gaskets and i had to shave down the bolt.

here are some pics for you i just took.
its hard to tell in the pic but the bottom half of the bolt is shaved down quite a bit
