Default Maybe blown seal?

Ok so for awhile ever since i got tuned whenever I floor it in my car I will notice some smoke in my rear view mirror. I didn't think much I just thought maybe that's happening because I'm running a little rich, because I had to stop tuning because my clutch started slipping. Like two weeks ago i noticed some oil in my engine bay i thought it a leak from my catch can, it wasn't. I look around and see some oil in my Greddy Type S bov I take off my intercooler piping, and of course there is some oil in there OK. I take the filter off my turbo there is a little oil on the turbo housing. I checked if the turbine, fan (whatever its called) if it's loose and its fine it doesn't move at all. I call a couple friend they tell me my seal is blown i need a new turbo I think about selling my car for 2 minutes then I suck it up. I call ATP turbo ready to buy a new gt35r they tell me a lot of people get blow by because Garrett Ball Bearing turbo need way less oil than others and i should use a restrictor, I say but Ball bearing turbo's come with restrictors built in right? they say yes "use thicker oil 10w40 for s2000, run two restrictors the built in one and add another one (.035"). If your car still smokes after your seal is blown even though Garrett turbo's are made to last and seals don't blow on them often, but you can send in your turbo and we can send you a brand new one for $522 instead of paying $1400 i say OK.

Does this sound right to anybody what is your thoughts? I'm not sure what to think. My car never blows smoke on idle or normal driving ok super aggressive drivng like 80% + throttle to the floor

Try the restrictor before u send ur old turbo back! Thats a 5 min install! drive the car for a day and it might stop smoking. If it smokes after that then buy a new turbo.
