Meth Injection and tune

generally this would be too difficult, which is why you would have to remember to check the methanol level before switching to the high boost setting
Of course, you could have a "low level" indicator so that when the meth level reaches a certain point, an LED kicks on somewhere.

The aem has an output wire that pulls low if it senses anything wrong. Some have hooked that wire to the scramble boost wire and set it low for a simple safety in the truboost. You could also wire the boost safe output to relay on the solinoid to lock down the boost.

really? cause i disagree.
more likely he had it set up at a higher boost expecting the Meth to be injected and when it didnt.........................
This is why I am going to use it as preventative as opposed to power gaining. from what I have read it will be ok to run without a tune, basically it will prevent detonation and will be on the rich side. <----- I am still going to get it tuned but for starters ill take it as an anti-detonation bolt on

i'd leave the map as is and just use the smallest nozzle (60ml) single injection (not direct ported) for safety and a tad reduced intake temperature. i wouldn't retune like yank fuel and advance timing and put your whole system at risk relying on a $60 pump ($300 kit).
on my celica (originally tuned by the infamous brian proctor) i have the snowperformance kit (direct ported) and it activates at 4psi (originally installed to cover a bad tune). the lead wire running from the pump in the trunk attached to a solenoid that was activated by a boost sensor runs under the car along with the meth line. my car is low and i scraped it over a speed bump and ripped my ground off the solenoid. now my solenoid wouldn't open. at the time i wasn't monitoring my af/knock/timing religiously. i noticed my meth tank wasn't draining where it should be and upon inspection i found the line dangling. my car was re-tuned with the meth kit (leaned and advanced by XAT) but not too aggressively.

The aem actively monitors the pump wiring, pump strain, and tank level. You rely on a vacuum line to keep your wg from failing. Why the fear? Also, what in the world is the previous poster talking about the lines freezing? This is all room temp, no cryogenics involved.
