Default Which Meth Kit to get?

I've been doing some readings on meth kits.

I have the Ptuning kit GTX3076 on 91oct at 13psi with timing in between 11-12 with less than 1.5volts knock volts.

I would like to get some insight on which meth kit should I get...I will be using this with the AEM EMS V2.

I was thinking of just getting the basic AEM meth kit for $375.

Cooling mist have their EMS failsafe kit for $499

And then, do I really need all the functions of the new Aquamist HFS-3/HFS-4 appx $1000?

decisions, decisions....

I've just started using the Aem myself recently. I opted to get the flow monitor guage setup as well. Its nice because you can set parameters with the flow to trigger failsafes and the like. I have it wired to my truboost to automatically engage the scramble boost mode and drop it to wastegate pressure only in the event of a flow failure. Unfortuneatly though I have had a few issues with the flow sensor jamming falsely dropping the boost. It seems my sensor is bad and it is currently on the way to cali for them to inspect and replace. I like the simplicity of Aem's system and when working properly the flow guage and failsafe monitor do an excellent job. The only other real issue i've had is with the pushlock fitting. I have removed the flow sensor from the line multiple times and it seems that the hose wears out if you remove and replace it very often. I had the line blow off the sensor at the dragstrip the other night after an aggressive burnout. Problem was solved by cutting about 1/2" of the line off and reinserting a fresh end into the sensor. All in all the Aem seems to be decent stuff, but like anything performance wise it does add yet another failure point that must be monitored constantly. I find myself almost glued to my guages now, and I am constantly checking for problems. Which, I guess you should do anyway. It is worth the hassle though. The power increase is amazing for just a few hundred bucks, and a retune of course. Evan's was able to increase my boost to 18psi with 93 and 50/50 w/m. I was running 13ish without.

Anything less that 600 the single nozzle aem kit is more than sufficient.

I'd suggest the flow gauge to go with it though.

I know this post is like a million years old but I saw Evans tuned a 2006 with ptuning gtx3076 19_20 psi on 50/50 water meth at 550whp. Does anyone have similar results. I have ordered the flex fuel sensor and there's a e85 gas station in Bakersfield now but do not like the thought of having to refuel every 2 days.

You'll go through the meth even quicker.
I don't think you could save money using a ton of 50/50 over E either.

maybe save money and just retune on 91 octane at 13 psi? Stock block install flex fuel sensor at 20 psi?

I'm usually not one to talk, cause I get going and then have to proof read for an HR lol. But I'm not sure if I understand what ur saying or asking.

You will need a re tune once u install ur E sensor. If you want the E potential, obviously it's just reading content without the computer saying add this n that it's not gonna do anything.
R u not tuned on pump yet?

yes I'm currently tuned on 91 octane at 11.5 psi. Just deciding between e85 and water meth now

Depending on which is closer to you. I know both owners and use both. I keep 40 gallons of E at my house at all times
