Getting my car tuned at Evans tuning on tuesday, was wondering if I should up my meth/water mixture to a 50/50?
Currently Im using straight Peak Blue -20deg which is a 30/70 meth/water. Right now Im at 9psi, meth comes on at 6psi. The first tuner just used the meth to make the A/F more rich. Did not use it for timing advancement. I want to have Evans do that though.

I will be running 10 or 11psi on stock F22, Is it worth it to go 50/50?

 

I've always ran 50/50 water/meth and it works great.

 

I am doing a 70/30 mix (meth to water), I am only spraying past 16psi and didnt want to run into ignition problems with all that water...........

50/50 is great for cooling (better then 70/30 for that anyway)

 

water cools around 4 times better then methanol. if you want to just lower temps, run straight distilled water. if you want to add octane and still cool the air, run 50/50 your choice by weight or volume, i do by volume, run water meth. a 5 gallon can of M1 is around 30 bucks. i would do that, wait that is what i do. 35-40 bucks gets me 10 gallons of go juice its way chaeper then race gas, and only gets used when your in boost so its absolutely the best of both worlds.

since your gonna spray anyways, have them do two tunes, one without it and one with it. i would add either boost or timing personally if your gonna spray. i add around 2 degrees of timing on my 50-50 mix
