mildly scored #4 onlyabout an inch but...
But I'm gonna yank it and sleeve it anyway. my question to you guys is with a budget and a week to week piecing together of this block build what would you do??
cp pistons obviously 87mm as I need to bore the cylinders. 600 ish with rings and pins
87mm sleeves? what brand here and what is the normal cost?
what bearings will I need?
I know the machine shop I am going to use. They had my head done in 3 days and the guys know there stuff.
I'm guessing around 3k give or take. I will be removing the block myself, the head is alredy off just need to unbolt the bs and take her out and drop it off with parts to the shop.

IL log mani sc 6152e turbo
aem 3mm hg
don't know the cause of the score. I have had the oil jet bolts in since the turbo so I am assuming there was plenty of oil.
Pauter rods for ap2 or are they all the same?

Is the AP2 crank a direct drop in??
AP2 crank with 89mm bore and 9:1 pistons will make it a 2.3l?
are there different pauter rod lengths for the s2k or is it just the stroke of the crank that is different? sorry for the noob questions but I only want to do this part of the build once.
OEM bearings or should I go with something different?
If you know of any other links that may help go ahead and link them. Thanks

OEM bearings seem quite capable.
Pauter makes both AP1 and AP2 rods. They are different. One of the reasons why I chose Pauter was they they were one of the first companies to have an AP2 rod released (and they're awesome).
GE does a pretty good job at sleeving blocks (that's what I have).
If you want a stroker, Inline Pro has quite a bit of experience and they do their own sleeving in house.

only thing i can offer is leave it stock bore. if you have a problem down the road you can bore to 88 or 89 and not have to resleeve. start at 89 and your F'd in the A. i would def go with a 2.2 crank though. hell, maybe even 2.4 for a really broad power band, but i would do it as much as possible with stroke and not bore.
I want to say Arias pistons, Pauter Rods, GE HD Sleeves, and the rest of the engine build were $4500. I could be a bit off though. It's been a while and I did the motor build at the same time as a revamp to the turbo system.
