Default Mishimoto Radiator Install

Ok so Im buying a Mishimoto 3 core radiator.

Will my OEM fans fit or do I have to replace the fans as well?

they will "fit", but it depends on how close you are to everything else, as to whether or not you will need slim fans

my oem fans/shroud fit, but then I couldn't put the filter on my turbo, so i got the fans and shroud (sounds like there is a jet taking off everytime the fan kicks on)

I shouldnt have a problem then cause my Turbo is located in the corner of the engine bay. I have RHD s if you looking into the engine bay its in the left corner by teh headlight.

Ill have a look tonight to see, im guseeing it sits an inch or two closer to the engine.

It should. Just measure how much space now, then the difference in width of the radiators.

Ok so I came across a Koyo radiator which is slightly more expensive. It is a 2 row though compared to the Mishi X-line which is 3 row.

Problem is I dont think any of the radiator caps I have will fit the Koyo and Im not keen on spending a whole lotta extra money for a Koyo specific cap.

The mishi comes with a cap. I have a Greddy Trust cap that fits my OEM radiator but Im assuming that wont fit the Koyo right??

Any advice please?

Thanks

I just phsically checked my bay now and Ive only got like a finger space between my stock shroud and my boost pipes! So I may have to get slimmer fans anyway! What a bloody hack!

I have a Mishi rad with oem fans. It's tight on my 3" charge pipes but you can make it work. Cut into the basket that holds the fans and get the shroud flush with the rad.
