Default Missing Link?

Hey guys I dont post much, but i have been searching alot and just need some help with my turbo install.
- Turbonetics T3-T4 turbo
- Blox FMU

The guy i bought the kit from recommended me to use Synapses Missing Link to hide the boost from ECU. So I finnally finished install of the kit and I decided to take it for a spin. The car turns on fine, after letting it idle it bogs and dies. So i decided to take the link off and after that the car seemed to run just fine in idle and while driving. Since the car seems to be fine do i need to run link or not? (if it matters im not going to boost over 6 psi)

Also I have a Blox FMU, just to make sure, the Fuel Pressure regulator line closest to the drivers side does it connect to the fitting sticking out more or the other way around?

Thanks for your answers.

your using a rising rate fp?!? the missing link is more for ctsc and vortech along side a rising rate fp...I don't think it will work with the turbo application
