Default Modified coolant ports on intake manifold.

On my last kit (Ptuning), I rotated the coolant pipe coming off the front of the intake where the bleeder is. I rotated it so it was basically infront of the head. I never really had a warm/fuzzy it would stay sealed. I just couldn't stand the site of the tube coming way out and then making a large rotation down to the turbo.

I know I've seen where people tap them for AN fittings. So, I want to see pics and get info on what you guys have done when routing your coolant lines for turbos.

I think what I'm going to do is figure out how to pull that pipe off the front of the manifold and then tap it for an NPT male to AN male fitting. Then get an AN to barb 45* fitting and run the hose that way.

Any pics/advice is welcome.

if you twist that nipple around and pull it'll come off pretty easy. You can tap it for a npt thread no problem and use whatever fitting you want. Just make damn sure to keep the bleeder there or you'll never get the air out of the block.

Not yet. After wadzii said I could just pull that coolant pipe off, I went and did that, and then ordered some parts from Jegs. Just waiting for them to get here.

Will post pics when done.

Sigh... I forgot npt sizes =/= standard sizes... I ordered a -6 an to 3/8 npt fitting. Should have been -6 an to 1/8 or 1/4 npt. 3/8 is way too big in npt sizes. I got the -6 right at least.

Had to make another order and wait again.
