when i was running 600whp on pump the trans was fine and had no issues. I did blow a 120k mile tranny but it was coming out of a toll booth and i mashed it 1st-4th and when i slowed down 2nd gear was making a ton of noise. Doing pulls from 3rd-5th i had no issues.

When i ran racegas I wasnt able to get the car into gear. I would go to grab the gear it just didnt want to go in. Could have been the clutch but I dont think that was it. The trans was a very low mileage 07 trans.

Unfortunately if you plan on doing any kind of drag racing with around 600whp you will have to upgrade the trans. You can baby it but its crazy how weak the stock trans is.

I wouldnt say the stock tranny is weak. Its taking 400 more hp and 200 more tq than it was ever ment to and my original is still going pretty strong.

Just the people wanting to hit the dragway and give it all she has will have problems or the ones that slam gears harder than a person should.

Are any of you running a boost-by-gear setup, i'm going to try this on my new setup and see how the stock tranny holds up.

I use boost by VSS, so pretty much the same thing. Still didn't help my stock trans live.

I used it on both the street and track.

Over 600whp is when I started having issues.
