Motor break in
On mine I did it differently. From the tuner, he did the first 100 miles w/ no boost and limited to 4000k rpm. After I've reached that 100 miles I replaced the oil filter and 5 quarts Breakin oil from Amsoil with new ones. Went back to the tuner and he dialed it and gave me 6 lbs of boost to play around with limited 6000rpm up to 500 miles then I replaced the oil again same thing all over again but didn't changed the oil filter though. Brought it back after 1000 miles for the final tune, breakin at the dyno and it did 486whp on 16psi and the motor just ran flawless. Then I replaced the oil again and also the oil filter with one of their 10/30 Signature series oil and Purolator gold filter. Now the car has 12000+ miles now and still ran great. The last time the oil and filter got changed was at 7500 "following the car's minder now". Anyway, hope this help on your build. Good luck.
I'm no expert, as many people here, however I also don't subscribe to break in periods.
Honda also says you shouldn't reuse the valve cover gasket, I've had mine off at least five times at this point and it's still perfectly dandy. Honda also says you should use Honda MTF, I've been running regular mobil 1 in my MT with no issues...
Honda specifics for a new S2000 refers to the engine and brakes. This is what Riceball 777 refers to as BS. What would Honda know about their engines anyway!?

Just break it in hard on the Dyno. I have always just broke my new engines in on the Dyno.
With my new f24 turbo stroker engine I just started the engine to check for leaks and blead the cooling system then towed the car to the Dyno. Made 477whp on 91octane and 621whp on e85 and the engine runs great.

hahaha no I didn't mean it like that! I meant to trust him when it comes to breaking in in the new motor!

Well the engine "builder" is Honda
I did talk with my tuner and we are going to break in the new motor on the dyno
