On mine I did it differently. From the tuner, he did the first 100 miles w/ no boost and limited to 4000k rpm. After I've reached that 100 miles I replaced the oil filter and 5 quarts Breakin oil from Amsoil with new ones. Went back to the tuner and he dialed it and gave me 6 lbs of boost to play around with limited 6000rpm up to 500 miles then I replaced the oil again same thing all over again but didn't changed the oil filter though. Brought it back after 1000 miles for the final tune, breakin at the dyno and it did 486whp on 16psi and the motor just ran flawless. Then I replaced the oil again and also the oil filter with one of their 10/30 Signature series oil and Purolator gold filter. Now the car has 12000+ miles now and still ran great. The last time the oil and filter got changed was at 7500 "following the car's minder now". Anyway, hope this help on your build. Good luck.

This is how Laskey recommends to break in his engines http://www.laskeyracing.com/shop/breakin.htm

I'm no expert, as many people here, however I also don't subscribe to break in periods.

Help assure your vehicle’s future
reliability and performance by paying
extra attention to how you drive
during the first 600 miles (1,000 km).

During this period:
Avoid full-throttle starts and rapid
acceleration. Do not exceed 5,500
rpm for the first 600 miles (1,000
km) of operation.

You should also follow these
recommendations with an
overhauled or exchanged engine, or
when the brakes are replaced
.

Avoid hard braking for the first
200 miles (300 km).

Do not change the oil until the
scheduled maintenance time.
Honda also says you shouldn't reuse the valve cover gasket, I've had mine off at least five times at this point and it's still perfectly dandy. Honda also says you should use Honda MTF, I've been running regular mobil 1 in my MT with no issues...

This is what golden eagle gave me with my built block. Every big engine builder will all tell you the same thing. Don't drive the car at all with the new engine and tune it and break it in on the dyno.

With my new f24 turbo stroker engine I just started the engine to check for leaks and blead the cooling system then towed the car to the Dyno. Made 477whp on 91octane and 621whp on e85 and the engine runs great.
This is exactly what InlinePro recommends, and what I did when I put the turbo on my newly built engine. I made ~500whp at 17psi with 9,5:1 compression on the newly built engine with a Garret GT3076R (which is what I'm still running). More than 10 000km on it now without any engine problems.

I did talk with my tuner and we are going to break in the new motor on the dyno
