Hope you researched your tuner and got a good one...that is probably one of the most critical pieces to the FI world. I would think that they should have a check list for you...but usually they want you to do a compression test and a leak down test prior to the install and tune.

I'm using Central Florida Turbo in Orlando to tune it. They tuned two of my B-Series civics in the past one N/A and one turbo. I'm new to the S2k and don't have any people to ask for help. That's why I started this thread. Someone from CFT told me I needed the block off plate for the air pump however I don't see it on my motor. Pretty sure I read drive by wire cars don't have that?

I have all that air pump stuff removed, and blocked off...but mine is an AP1. Really just got it off to get it out of the way...it does nothing with the standalone ems.

How are you guys reading intake air temps do I need to get an aftermarket sensor and put it in the intercooler piping?

So my car was tuned last week and I was a little disappointed to say the least. My car only made 8 psi of boost at 8000 rpm and she's putting down 320whp on a Mustang dyno. I know the fmic Is probably costing me a couple psi but I wasn't expecting that much. Can I run a smaller pulley on my V2? Or can I upgrade the blower some how? Looking for more mid-range grunt.

You can go with a 3.4 inch or 3.2 inch with your 8000 redline and see maximum boost. That front mounted cooler is costing you. I would ditch it and go with a Vortech inter-cooler setup.

I'm running a 3.2 and the blower just sings at idle. You can hear it from a long distance and it gets plenty of attention. Have fun. The mid-range torque is fantastic. Get sticky tires.

^^ He means Vortech Aftercooler, not intercooler.

But then you'll need a large heat exchanger and bosch water pump to compliment it.

I understand the after cooler will help but I'm worried about heatsoak. Planning on as many track days as possible and this is not my daily. I guess I'll go with a 3.2 pulley when I get my exhaust and retune. I was worried about over spinning the blower with that small of a pulley but I'll give it a shot.

Ditch the intercooler, run a 3.6 pulley. I currently run a 3.8 and only see 10 psi due to the fact of the Ap2 8400 redline, headers and exhaust. A 3.2 pulley will over spin a lot the Vortech.
