Default My car is misfireing close to redline?

ok, system is aftercooled running on its stock belt, however i do get 8-9 lbs of boost here in Vancouver bc. ( canada )

THis has never happend before but now when im about 500 rpms to redline, the car sounds like its hitting the redline but doesnt do the fuel cut?

I had my plugs changed by Science of Speed about 10k miles, fuel seams fine, so where can the misfiring be?

No smoke of anykind from the pipes, no oil on the rear bumper or in the exhaust, im not burning any oil, the car is not running hot, fuel pressure at WOT is off the defi gauge.

However, i will do the plugs again anyways just rule it out.

Any help would be great.

thats exactly what its doing! thanks. I was wondering why or where it could come from. The fuel is there, just not the spark. I know SOS recomended a specific plug for FI, what are you guys running or would recomend?

Thanks

ok, i looked up the ngk 7173 plugs and part number was R5672A-8. Now here in CANADA, It came up ask a NGK 6564. Has anyone else IN CANADA or has any NGK experience that this is the same plug? They are still copper plugs, they just called diffrent but run the same numers.. weird?

Are you sure you're not running lean and knocking? 8-9psi is beyond the safe fuel delivery capacity of the stock injectors. Have you had the car on the dyno to check safe A/F ratios?

the car has always ran at that much boost and has ran great! Im more then confident that its the plugs since i havent changed them for the longest time. Well these plugs that i have which have the same part number as the 7173 so ill give them a try.

The car boost harder here where i am i think just due to the lower altitude and the cool air that we get of the ocean. When i was in phoenix it was boosting 7 lbs soo i think its just due to the location.

I was in san diego, same thing, car boosted great! back to phoenix and back to the 7 lbs.

then again, i could be wrong haha
