Looks good.

I am curious as to whether the remaining center hump needs to be cut out for the drive shaft... The place where the E-brake handle is sitting looks a little low compared to the output gear on the tranny...

You are pretty much making the CRX like Honda SHOULD have made it from the factory. High performance engine AND RWD.

John
thanks guys. it is really hard to find time to work on it when i'm busy doing other stuff for other customers. when things are slow i usually get a few days in on it. i hope to have it firing up next summer, but maybe not necassarily driveable. i'm in no rush to get it done as i would really like to do it right the first time. although, if i was really meticulous, i'd have stripped the frame down completely and had it dipped or blasted or something. i just don't have the funds for something like that, or the time!

gas pedal: i knew ahead of time that i was going to have to move it over when i first measured how wide the bell housing is on the transmission. i am going to bend the brake and gas pedals to move them over. it should make things easier for the quick heel toe action!

driveshaft tunnel: yes, it does have to come up about 2" or so. the reason i didn't do it at the same time as the tranny tunnel, is that i didn't want the complete floor pan cut in half for an extended period of time while i was making up the tunnels. cutting the whole belly of the car in half would have made it pretty flexible and not idea for keeping things sturdy while making up the tunnel. i'm not sure how much things could have moved, but i figured i could do it one half at a time and still maintain a rigid structure down the middle of the car.

i will try to post up some more pics next week, even if i haven't made any progress, perhaps some more detailed pics. i really need a better camera though!
