Default My ebay heat exchanger

Here is my ebay heat exchanger I just recieved today. It looks pretty good for $99 shipped. I just need to get some hardware to block off the two holes one where the drain valve goes, and another one. I also need to get hardware so I can hook up the hoses, and just some brackets to mount it.

Same one as mine but that one is 3.5" thick.

I should be installing mine over the weekend hopefully. I'm going to cut the top mounting points off and have them welded over onto each side at the top for easier mounting .

Point of what ? My topic ? If so then the point of this is to show people the actual heat exchange from eBay , give a review and install info , and to inform people Incase they were looking at this but were afraid to pull the trigger .

I have that unit for my vortech. Works great! Keeps my intake temps around 20-25F above ambient. I have a thread somewhere detailing the install process.

It's a larger heat exchanger to better cool the air from the air-water intercooler (aka aftercooler) used on supercharger kits. I had considered such a thing...does it help lessen the heat soak when sitting idle for a while. My IAT's climb when sitting, but quickly cool when I start moving.

I've been rocking a similar eBay heat exchanger for close to 2 years now with zero issues. Works awesome for only $120 shipped!

I'm not entirely happy with mine.
Stock one is way to small. Once it gets heat soaked that's it. It' never recovers.

Bigger exchanger and more fluid in the system helps.
