So you bought the kit and then got a different manifold? I am confused, if you are using a different mani then how will the compressor side charge pipes, and down pipe line up? What was the point of buying the kit? I like how your car isn't even turbo'd yet and you are telling Jakub to stop bitching. Go read a different thread if you dont like it.
Perhaps he means intake manifold?

The Hypertune is an intake manifold.

First, yes i have the hypertune intake manifold, well had it. It was sent back to full race to be replaced with a 70mm bore and the matching TB. Full Race is having some serious issues with Hypertune right now so things are being set back. I need it before i go out to have Cody put the kit on so that the intercooler piping can be welded up to the manifold. And I am reading this thread and contributing because i have infact already droped the $ for the kit. I just find it slightly annoying that this whole thing is based off of the first version of the kit and therefor has no affect to people who are buying the new kit now. I do realize i shouldn't speak to soon but with Cody installing the kit I for see little problems.

Well, my dump tube on my GT1 kit broke off while driving on the highway today. I don't know how could that happen, and i only had the kit running for 4 days.

That's what the title says. "first kit". So sorry for writing about what I have and not about what you are going to have (and break pretty soon ).
Only because you got a different version of his kit I do not have the right to inform members about my experience? I would like to see your face if you would have to solve out all that $hit I had to.

Once you are with Cody, tell him to ship me that oil restrictor, because if my Garrett blows, I'm booking a flight to Michigan.

I had the gt1 kit with numerous problems. Read the topic "For those with LoveFab rattling problems" and you will see all the shit that went wrong with my kit.

wtbs2k: The dump tube breaking off and getting run over by me and numerous other cars is the first thing that broke on my kit too. The vibration was so bad that it actually snapped the pipe and not the weld. Next will be your manifold at the collector and then your down pipe.

One of the most stupid ones:

"It's 3" piping and even with that slag, it will still outflow my 2.5".
If I recieved that piping, the welds were nice on the outside, and the inside looked the way it does in the pictures, yes I would mention it to Cody and be a little upset but it will still flow fine. I would probably just take the piping and have it extrude honed to clean the slag out."

1. The IC piping on the mini-me are 2.5inch.
2. I don't pay for a kit to do any additional work besides installing it, sorry. That's what I'm paying the manufacturer for. Again, the manifold, IC piping and the joke-of-a-heatshield are the only 3 items he is building.
What is so stupid about what I said you POS? If you weren't so non-mechanically inclined, you would realize how some of your complaints are easily fixed with very little time and effort. But I guess that makes you stupid for letting it get this far and having other people do the work for you.

Hey now, let's not make this personal. This thread will get locked in a heartbeat.
