Spoolin, sorry man, I just have to say it...

I would be really pissed off if I dropped as much coin as this kit costs (and I did, just on another kit ) and had to go have further work done like "have it extrude honed to clean the slag out".

When you spend this kind of money (at least me anyway) I expect more than having to do what you describe as no big deal.

15 years of running my own businesses has taught me, many times the hard way, that managing the expectations of the customers is often more important than anything else.
I knew someone was going to say that.

I feel the same way. Some people have that kind of money to spend. I don't and I just want to have my kit go together without to much down time and without to many parts modifcation as possible.

I will be heading down the road you guys are pretty soon. Hopefully all will go well and possibly I won't run into to many problems. My friend just recieved his GT1 kit a couple weeks ago and decided to sell his car. He never installed it so everything is brand new. When I went to inspect it a couple weeks ago everything looked good. He's giving me a HELLA good deal and its the newest updated kit. I'm sure there are some people left who have bought the newer GT1 kits and had less problems with fitment or else I'm in for some work. I'm suppose to start install next week so I'm pretty sure I'll be on to ask questions or comment on things.

Thanks for the post , my LoveFab Turbo dreams are now over.

I know what you mean jakub, i would expect to pay $7400 for a kit, and have no problems whatsoever. Some people might say "it has some minor issues", for a kit that is about roughly $3000 more expensive than others, any form of "issues" is unexceptable. I know turbo kits and setups mean work, but personally i dont think you can promise anything better than perfect quality, fitment, and reliability, when your kit cost almost double that of other turbo kits on the market.

Sad all you people who don't have a kit, and havn't installed a kit feel the need to chime in on this thread like we give a DAMN! Shit, shut up with the bashing. We try to keep S2ki to be informative. Let Jakub tell his problem and let us read and make our own assumptions because no one gives a damn about your oppinions. If you have a Lovefab kit then chime in and let us know what you think about your set-up, but listening to all you people just get on to talk smack is aggrivating.

J. R.

PS I know all of you will continue to post your shit, but thought I might persuade some of you to stop. If I get to just one guy who was going to start bashing when he knows NOTHING and own's NOTHING then I did my part.

So let us read and not provide any input? Oh I forgot this isnt any normal forum... its s2ki, we arent supposed to post our opinions. In that case, you should stop too.

I have met you, I drive the orange EF. Pretty much you talk all cool and stuff in front of Cody and say all is good, then behind his back you talk smack. I am not defending the problems you guys have had with the Lovefab kit, just saying Cody does all that he can to help.
I knew that was you, and the only reason I "talk all cool and stuff in front of Cody and say all is good, then behind his back you talk smack" is because when I met you he had fixed my car. Before I got back home (less than 300 miles) it was already broken again.

If Cody wants to help than he should start by not selling turbo kit that breaks weekly!

Like "flexer" said, those of you who dont own shit shut up. And "ex-eclipse" says those of you who don't have any problems, good for you. I had a ****in nightmare with this kit and I wouldn't want anyone else on s2ki.com to go through what I went through. That is why I speak my mind about it. Also how many of you have ever been to LoveFab? What, maybe two or three of you. Half of you guys dont know shit about Cody or his business. I however do, and that is why I hold back with a lot of the complaints I have. Cody is a great person, and would do anything for any of us, but he is in way over his head. He never meant for any of this to happen and it is too bad that it did. Selling turbo kits is his career and he depends on that money to live. You all might think that since he his selling $7000.00 kits that he lives the good life with lots of nice things. Truth is he doesn't make that much by the time he buys all the materials, turbo, ems, injectors, oil cooler, inter cooler, couplers, clamps, nuts and bolts, brackets, oil lines, what ever else I forgot and has to maintain his welders which are in operation almost non-stop plus all the usual stuff like electric and heat bills. I feel for the guy and I wish that the situation with my car would have never happened. I consider Cody a friend but I also feel I must tell the truth about what went on to other members. Sory Cody.

This is how I feel because I am about to go drive my Lovefab turbo'd S like I do everyday. It's always nice to wake up knowing I get to be pushed back in my seat and that I have no problems to worry about pushing my car everyday.
