This is how I feel because I am about to go drive my Lovefab turbo'd S like I do everyday. It's always nice to wake up knowing I get to be pushed back in my seat and that I have no problems to worry about pushing my car everyday.
Haha, way to rub it in

Are most people having these problems those that bought kits earlier on when LoveFab just started selling them or have people who have turbo'd through LoveFab recently had the same problems?

I am currently doing a Lovefab install on a friends car right now. So far issues as of right now are: exhaust manifold bolt holes not tapped properly (for turbo housing) had to extract two bolts-wasted half a day, fab up a bracket to support the oil cooler properly-no real time wasted (just wish it was thought out more), no complaints about the IC piping, but the welds at the head side of the manifold could definitly be cleaned up. Other than those fairly minor issues its going well, it is not finished and has not been started yet, we'll find out if there are more problems. This may be a frivolous concern but the install intructions are pretty weak as well. I do not know Cody nor have I ever spoken with him, I am not bashing him or his stuff, but when you price a "turbo kit" at 7500-8000. you had better make sure your R&D is well thought out and tested. I believe he jumped into the water too soon and it is obvious that he is getting better from the first "kit" but still needs some time to get it perfect. As with any set-up, wether it is a supercharger or turbo (I have done a couple of S/C set ups and one Turbo) all of these have required some sort of modification or fitment of some sort. Just my 2 cents.

Wow, just wow! I guess that is just another reason why I'm going to send my business to Inline soon. Nice info.

I've had my issues with inlinepro in the past. (5-6 years ago, not product wise, but installation wise and customer service...).... but after reading all these lovefab issues (not just this one but a lot of other peoples)....

i'm willing to give inline another try...

i rather have to re-tighten a bolt here and there every other week, then have to uninstall a turbo setup and reinstall every other week....

Two of the best lines that could have been written by me:

" I believe he jumped into the water too soon and it is obvious that he is getting better from the first "kit" but still needs some time to get it perfect. " - QUICKAG

"I would be really pissed off if I dropped as much coin as this kit costs (and I did, just on another kit and other items ) and had to go have further work done like "have it extrude honed to clean the slag out"."- geists2k

One of the most stupid ones:

"It's 3" piping and even with that slag, it will still outflow my 2.5".
If I recieved that piping, the welds were nice on the outside, and the inside looked the way it does in the pictures, yes I would mention it to Cody and be a little upset but it will still flow fine. I would probably just take the piping and have it extrude honed to clean the slag out."

1. The IC piping on the mini-me are 2.5inch.
2. I don't pay for a kit to do any additional work besides installing it, sorry. That's what I'm paying the manufacturer for. Again, the manifold, IC piping and the joke-of-a-heatshield are the only 3 items he is building.

Sure the kit comes with quality parts, but those parts are outsourced. It does not say anything about Cody and his skills that you get a TiAl wastegate, now does it?!?!?
It would say something about his R&D if the WG would not sit so close to the DP

okay jakub you really need to stop bitching... it's getting really old for everyone here. And besides the kit you have is not the kit being sold to people today there for not having any bearing on people who have the updated kit or people looking to buy the new kit. I have personally already bought the new kit and I am now just waiting for my Hypertune manifold to come back with the correct specs.

yep thats my sentiment, I just finish installing my Gt1 and getting it tune on thursday. My experience is install instruction definately needs help, there are things I can edit the instruction and help the next person installing, just that will improve the experience. It is rough around the edges, instruction is weak but to someone who done it before its so simple.

Jakobs entitled to bitch. If more people did that on here, less people would make mistakes with their modifications.

I get a kick how all of a sudden "There's a new great shop or a new great setup or a new great tuner" and everybody runs there like lemmings.

Personally if I had recieved that poor level of quality etc. I'd have had Cody in court and I've met Cody, he's a good guy so I know he's tried but business is business.

Jakob's problem and Cody's is that Cody can't support Jakob in Europe and intl frieght is very expensive. Jakob shouldn't have bought the kit and Cody shouldn't have sold it without being able to support it.

I see a two sided mistake here and I think it's good that other people read about it.

There's a lot of forced induction horror stories. If this one ends up helping out both suppliers and members in the future, that's good.

So you bought the kit and then got a different manifold? I am confused, if you are using a different mani then how will the compressor side charge pipes, and down pipe line up? What was the point of buying the kit? I like how your car isn't even turbo'd yet and you are telling Jakub to stop bitching. Go read a different thread if you dont like it.
