Is the tune that he put on the ems for a stock s2000 or a tune for the turbo kit?

 

the tune will be for the car with the turbo kit but it will be tuned for all loads at all rpms. so the car will drive perfect in or out of boost. if you've got a different compression ratio than stock, either from a thicker headgasket or built motor, then the map may need to be tweaked a little.

 

Any chance he could put the same tune on a kpro? Does kpro offer boost per gear like the AEM? May eventually consider this EMU down the road especially for emissions

 

I'm pretty sure that Kpro can control boost but I don't know about boost by gear. I've got the software on my laptop I'll check it out. I'm sure he's tuned turbo S2000's using Hondata before so he would have a map to work with. if it helps get around emissions then I guess Hondata would be a positive, it will require a little more work on a non-DBW car though.

 

Yea k-pro does boost by gear. Thanks for the news on the tune candymanjl. My cars gunna be stock except for exhaust. Idk if im gunna get the t1r 70em dual sparrow or do a exhaust cutout!... Ive tried to email mase a couple times but havent heard back. I cant wait to get this kit!

that's cool, didn't know kpro had boost by gear. AIM is the best way to talk to Mase, that's how I've contacted him so far.

as far as exhaust 70mm will be better than stock, but's not quiet 3", not sure how much that will effect the power though, have to talk to Mase he talked about maybe making his own 3" exhaust but that'll be after the turbo kit is done. I think a lot of people are running inlinepro's 3" and having good gains in power.

 

Yea inlinepro exhaust is very loud and i wanna keep a dual setup! Whats his aim screename?
