A CO2 or water spray on a front mount (radiator or IC) is only worthwhile if the radiator is getting too hot. If the airflow is doing the job then I expect any gains would be less than the loss due to the additional weight.

That said, Aus S2000s have water sprayers for the HID lights. We have a pump and plumbing to the front bar already in place. I'm going to reroute it to some irrigation pipe and sprayers pointing at my FMIC and remove the ugly sprayers on the front bar. Might help a bit in the hot summer days.

Water spray will cool the radiator down to the temp of the water and a little cooler due to the evaporation (if it is hot enough in the first place). A CO2 sprayer would actually chill the radiator well below the ambient temp. This works on Intercoolers because the boost flows through them and you are chilling the air. However, with the aftercooler I think you would have to chill the water that runs through it an extreme amount to get a significant drop in intake air temperature. Possibly a better solution would be to spray CO2 on the Aftercooler unit itself to chill it?

Aus- wouldnt you need to find a way to change the spray into a mist? I think that the washer nozzles would have a different spray pattern than you would want for an FMIC setup.

I won't be using the headlight nozzles at all. I will be using irrigation hose and misting jets. It will just be fed by the existing pipe and plumbing to the front left (below headlight).

Aus- this is sort of OT but I have always wondered. Is the button for the headlight sprayer located by your knees? I have always wondered what this mysterious button on my car was that does absolutely nothing.

Hmm... So, anyone know what size pulley you would need to run to get around 8 psi from 4500 rpm and up? Blowing off the excess with one (might need 2) BOV('s)?

It's where your coin slot is. We have a plate there with the switch and a blank. If you have a hard top the blank is replaced with a defroster switch.

04 onwards Aus S have the new console and the switches are in the blanks on the instrument cluster (where you have the Cruise switch).

Xviper was kind enough to send me a coin slot so I am relocating the headlight/intercooler spray switch to the cluster. I also have a Cruise switch from the US that I will use for my boost controller.

Are you going to have it spray at WOT or manually?

Initially manually. But then I'll get my head around all the AEM EMS parameters and probably get it to spray at WOT and when AITs go above a certain temp etc.
