If you are getting a consistant creep every time, it's probably due to the 38mm WG not being able to compete with the flow rate of the exhaust system. If you get sudden spikes, it's because of the boost controller.

The greddy unit is a pain to get to work and has spiking issues for some people still.

What else should I get instead of the Greddy unit? Any suggestions are appreciated. I dont plan on modding any more vehicles for a long, long time and want to do it right the first time around.

a basic manual boost controller has held the best boost levels for us. I'm sure it'll work perfectly fine with your turbo setup

I have one of those and it works well, but I was limited to 15 psi. My tuner said that I could only double the wastegate spring boost level with this type of boost controller. We opened it all the way up and couldn't get past 15 psi.

Anyone have an idea what type of horsepower this setup should put down? Do you think its vital to replace the head gasket? What should maximum boost this setup can handle?
