What is that? is it for FI people only or what?
yes; it's not totally necessary but it's preferred

from my installer

"As far as the MAP , we clamp the factory MAP via the software and use a Greddy pressure sensor to read Manifold pressure to the Greddy ."

Interesting, do you think this could be why my readings are going crazy? Where can I find one of those pressure sensors?

i have no idea if that is causing your wild readings but it may be a start

Is your tuner familiar with the emanage at all?

I run FI with the OEM MAP sensor - it is relocated from the throttle body because it was showing very erratic bouncing around under boost. I believe the greddy kit relocates the OEM MAP using a bit of rubber tubing.

A friend of mine was suggesting that it could be my sparkplugs, if they were resisted or not.
actually, now that you mention it

my tuner had the very same problem; when we were using resisted cooper plugs, it completed a loop with the o2 sensor connected to the exhaust tip and caused erratic behavior on the dyno

we ended up switching to stock plugs and the problem went away.. i will be putting in step colder iridiums later on....

you are right, the greddy pressure isn't necessary but i believe its more accurate?

the greddy kit for 05 and prior does relocate it but i don't think it is relocated for a drive by wire setup

I am going to be datalogging a few street pulls later to see if I still get inconsistent readings. I will then swap out for my old colder iridiums to see if I get inconsistent readings or not. I will be pissed if it is the sparkplugs because Balanced would have wasted my time and money. But I won't complain until I find out if that really is the problem.

what is in there right now? cooper plugs?

I wouldn't be quick to blame Balanced; even my tuner wanted to use cooper, and he wasn't aware that they'd cause a problem because they are used many times without any problems..

it might be something weird with MY06+ s2000s...

They put in copper plugs for me. I knows it not really their fault, but I pay for the plugs + $50 for them to gap/install the plugs. On top of that, charged me 3hrs of dyno with absolutely no results. I will probably talk to them about it if it is the plugs. But before that, I need to see if it is the plugs or not causing these weird readings.

btw, I did have 1 step colder iridium plugs. They recommended me replace them with the gapped copper plugs they sold me.
