did you adjust the spring? There should be an alan key screw on the top of the BOV that you can adjust from hard to soft...

Is the vacuum line in the right place on the BOV? Should be on the top hole.

i am having the same problem, but my vacum lines is attached

VeilsideAP1:by turning the alan key screw, would it effect anything else other than the sound of the BOV? just not sure what it actually does.

thanks for any help!

Turning the Allen key is going to make the action of the BOV spring harder or softer. If you are running a SC setup and you cannot hear it venting...then your spring is too stiff and you need to loosen it. Keep testing it till you can here it vent and you will be able to hear it discharge at higher boost levels.

If your BOV is right in the middle of being too stiff and just right...you will get the "gobbling turkey" sound instead of a nice discharge.
