Default Need help identifying piston compression

I have bought an engine that I have stripped and will be checking over.
These are the Pistons that were fitted, but I need help identifying the compression ratio, If anybody can tell from the photos.

Have you measured them?

They are 87mm diameter, is there any other measurements that can identify the compression ratio.

What's the height? Google measuring piston height to know exactly where to measure, I can't remember exactly

Well just looking at your pics. They are dished forged Pistons. That means they are low compression Pistons meant for turbo charged engines. They are probably 9.0:1 to 10.0:1 compression. A f22 will be about half a point higher in compression than a f20. And a 2.4 crank will be about half a point higher in compression than a f22c.

They are CP pistons and have a mark on the underside 85-2A, does this help identify?

I think you have 8:1 pistons, The 9:1 cp's are flat top.

Thanks I have just measured the compression height, which is 1.131" so it can either be 8.4 or 9.0 and if yours is 9.0, mine must be 8.4:1.

Problem solved, thanks for everyones input.
