Default Need help ID'ing a Vortech SC part

Can someone tell me what that pulley looking thing is, to the right of the blower on the picture below? It looks like a part of the modified crank pulley...Is it?

Also, can anyone tell me the stock psi the vortech unit runs? If I want to up the boost, which pulley do I have to change?

It goes on top of the crank pulley to drive the blower.

Is this the pulley that I need to replace to run higher boost? Whats the stock boost for the Vortech unit?

You'll need to swap the pulley on the blower unit for more boost. Smaller pulley = more boost. I will assume you have an AP1 kit, so stock boost is 7-8psi.

No. You bolt this one on to the crank pulley and use it to drive the blower. The one for more boost is right on the blower. i think 7lbs for vortech.

Stop asking your stupid SCer questions!

Remember my story about the modified crank pulley that wasn't included and I made my own? Thats the part you bolt to the modified crank pulley in the kit. When I didn't get the crank pulley from Vortech I bolted that ring to my stock pulley. Like I said. I DO NOT recommend it, but it is working for now.

The modified crank pulley is just a stock pulley that has been pre-drilled to line up to the holes in that ring.
