Need input for which oil cooler
Hello all,
I'm at an impasse. I'm putting on a twin scroll top mount and it's requiring me to remove the stock oil cooler. I have no problem with this. Seeing as real estate is tight I'm going to be using an air unit and fitting it inside an aluminum radiator (I'm just going to cut out the rows I have to (about 6"-8" depending on the cooler size) and weld it in. The core size is double the stock one, so losing 6-8" shouldn't cause any problems.
My question is which cooler will be best/adequate.
I'm down to two choices. The earls will be easier to fit and all I lose is about 7" of radiator. I'll be wedging it on the condenser fan side. The fluidyne will require quite a bit more rewelding and I'll lose about the same amount of rows.
