Default DBW Greddy on an 05

So there is a used Greddy DBW kit for sale at a good price...but I drive a 2005. Will this kit work on my car? (Sorry for the stupid question, I don't know if there are major changes that make the kit work on DBW or if it's just some extra piece that I could leave off)

you will need to get new injectors because the one for the dbw greddy kit uses injectors that fit an rsx

i dont think the car will even start with the 06-07 base map but it might who knows

i used a 2004-2005 kit on my 2007 so i'm sure it can go the other way around

harness, basemap, injectors, fuel rail spacing are diff/need to be replaced.

You will also need to get a walbro fuel pump and additional hoses for other connections.

i would not buy it, buy a kit made for your year! there are plenty for sale. look around the socal forsale forum if you don' t mind shipping.

Woah, too much work!

I'm just going to be patient and watch the for sale forums. I'm hoping to get a Vortech or GReddy for less than $3500.

There was a vortech in the for sale forum for a good price, looks real good and well taken care of.

Yeah, I've seen a few kits come up for sale that looked good...but they were from AP1's. So I guess my next question is can you put an AP1 Vortech kit on an AP2? Assuming I can get the correct base map loaded into the engine management...what else is different?
