Default Needing help ECT MODIFRY

Kindly help !
I have AEM ver 1 - 2001 Honda s2000 Ap1
I bought an ECT Modifry for Ap1 using AEM.
In the cold start, everything is ok showing just the base bar -- then after a few minutes of idling, the first bar showed up.
About 10 minutes of idling, the 2nd bar showed up, then the a few more minutes, the 3rd bar showed up -- then all of a sudden it keeps going to the 4th bar all the way to the last (5th) bar (235 degrees according to the manual) and pinned (stuck) there and not moving. My engine is not even overheating, I have no history of overheating. So, i put a raytek gun and measured the engine temperature, it's only showing 140 degrees. I thought the raytek gun was bad, so I put a simple oven temperature gauge in the anti freeze bleeder and it's consistent with the raytek gun 140 degrees.

My wiring is absolutely perfect using C-26 ect sensor of AEM & C-28 5v reference. To avoid a ground loop, I connected the ground to the AEM ecu chassis instead of car chassis.
So, what could be the problem? Anyone out here has the same issue?
The only thing I question is the C-28 5v reference. I tapped there (blue/yellow) which is used by the VSS 5v reference (vehicle speed sensor).
Do you think the VSS causing something to the ECT reading?
Do you think the ground is messing it up? Can i connect the ground directly to the -neg battery post?
I used soldering in all of the connections - no mambo jumbo.

Bob emailing me but it's hard when you are trying to fix the problem and the email comes the next day or so.
You lost your concentration to follow up the problem.

Thank you people

Check your wiring. I would see this when I used the T-clamps. If you solder your wire connections it should fix this.

tHE WIRING is perfect, I reviewed the C26 & C28 - aligned with the ECT modifry.
I unplugged the ECU plug and reviewed them 3 times.

There are only 5 wires & no brainer. Black & Brn ---->grn Green-->gauge Yellow--->C28 5v reference (AEM) White---->C26 coolant temp sensor (AEM)

So um. You know that the modify ect changes the range for the bars. Look on his site it shows the new range for what bars mean what.

Millivolts change the bars on the gauge, any voltage drop from between ECT sensor ground and the modify module will effect its operation.

Where is your ground connected?

The first time i tried the car chassis ground and the same result. Then I isolated the ground to the AEM chassis and did the same way.
I wonder if connecting directly to the negative battery post will behave properly.
I followed the test trouble shooting procedure - and passed thru step 1 to 3 http://modifry.com/products/ect/help.htm
The "QUICK TEST" failed -- and this is where becomes complicated and emailing Bob.
Just wondering if someone has similar issue and was able to find the solution.

The unit supposed to be plug in play for S2000 with AEM ecu and that's my understanding when I bought it to Bob (Modifry).
The product said if I have the corresponding car & ecu that I will not do anything to program the unit.
