Modifry ECT is showing full bar on cold engine



I hook up exactly like this picture above.

-Key is on inition
-ECM =+5volt I get the volts
-ECT wire i don't get any readings between 0 -5 volts I reading around get.005 - .008 {this apprenly it will not work with the module.}

The module need to see readings reading between 0 -5 volts

I have
AEM SERIES 1 AP1

Modifry is for AEM AP1

I changed the sensor and still nothing. Please help me out.

 

bad module ???

I just hooked my up a week ago .... took 15 minutes.... works like a charm .....

Have you allowed it to warm up? When my green wire I think is loose, mine sweeps in the wrong direction.

 

All I can say is I tried 2 of these before going to AEM serial guages cuz the modifry didnt work for me at all.

 

Mine has been wacky since day one . Sometimes it will max out the temp gauge for a minute or so and then go back to normal . I checked on Modifrys site and it says bad grounds cause these issues but my wiring is good . I do however have the safety of my ems turning on my cel if temps hit 210 and it has never come on .

 

Never had an issue when I was using mine with a series 1 aem
