New BW turbo options
Unfortunately Im very busy lately and dont get here as much as I should. However, I do have some news from Borg Warner I thought I should share.
Borg Warner has some new turbo prototypes in the development phase that will be available in January.
The first turbo is an S300SX with a 64.5mm billet compressor and the 76mm turbine found in the S360 and S362. Its basically a more powerful version of the S362 FMW that should be on par or edge out the S366 and offer quicker spool. No official power rating is available yet, but I expect 80-84lb/min is an accurate range.
The second is an S200SX. Similar to the S362 FMW this turbo uses a billet compressor from an EFR, specifically the 57mm from the 7670. Overall the turbo is similar to the S256 but is rated for 650hp, so approx 70hp more.
The price on these will be a little higher than the normal cast wheel options, but anyone familiar with the billet compressor options from BW these will absolutely be worth the money. They will be great alternatives to similar turbos on the market, and are narrowing the gap between the EFR and SX groups.
Being as the first production run is coming up the number of turbos available will be pretty limited and they will sell quick.
Any questions just ask.

I remember reading that someplace. I like the EFR's but a non-EFR would be great though. The extra length of the EFR may not work with my manifold and downpipe.

I have also been told that the EFR turbos are not very different in length compared to a similar sized precision or Garrett. The efr' swill require a special size vband for the down pipe though
