Marmon flanges are way more common than our "vband" in heavy/military equipment.

@scorpion, how does the s362 fmw compare to the other s300sx fmw has been out since 2012(not sure the exact name on this one as its just listed as an s300sx fmw)? is it the same size just more efficiant? or a different size turbo?

The S362 FMW is actually the original, and the new one has a 64.5mm compressor. It's meant to be just a step up, something intermediate. The 62mm is rated for 740hp and the 64.5 should be in the 820-840hp range.

I could see myself switching to a S200SX FMW and putting my S300 on my Monte Carlo rather than the T04Z sitting in the basement...Tim
The T04Z is bordering on ancient. Solid turbo, but Ive compared it with the S363 non-FMW and the old school T series just cant keep up.
The funny thing is that T04Z is still brand new... I've never heard of N.O.S. turbos, but it's getting close. It's probably been sitting around waiting for me to get everything else ready for a decade now. I bought it specifically because it was the largest turbo I could fit inside a T04E footprint (3" inlet and 2" compressor outlet).

BW just decided to add another option to the lineup. With billet compressors becoming much more common BW decided to step up their game. Next year they will have more FMW versions added.
