I am so sorry that has been your experience. Your KW kit will deliver though. Enjoy the extra power.

This is why I passed up on the Kraftwerks kit and went with SOS. I wanted the ability to expand, not be stuck with the power level right out the box. Kraftwerks said you can up the boost with smaller pulleys, but you have to lower redline and no one wants to do that.
i was going to buy SOS kit . i send 6 mails to SOS people. and they dont respond never. to bad his atention with me .- thats why i go with kraftwerks!
Thats very surprising. I sent Chris an email yesterday at 3:01pm (1:01 AZ time) and got a response at 3:10. Sent a second at 3:17 and got a response at 6:15.

I don't the issue with the KW kit is that its at its limit but the fact their intercooler core is huge and probably not very efficient. I spoke to LHT Performance and said I was interested in the KW kit but running my precision intercooler and John immediately said the KW intercooler is huge compared to the precision. More space equals more space to fill. The KW kit is spinning the c38 to 87,857 rpm (under the 90,000 rpm limit from Rotrex) but only seeing 11psi at the throttle body. If you look at 06S2k07Si dyno in his build thread, he is making 11psi with a restrictor in the inlet of the blower. I don't think Kraftwerks uses a restrictor or anything to limit boost. In my mind (unless I'm wrong about the restrictor) the intercooler or piping is limiting the kit to only making 11psi. Could also be that he is using the larger c38-92 over the 81 with the Kraftwerks kit.

Its actually only 9.8psi with the restrictor according to the MAP sensor in the datalog. We saw 13.6psi @ 7600ish (again per the MAP sensor) in the datalog without the restrictor.

My mistake. What was PSI without the restrictor?

Oops...corrected my post...see above...(13.6psi)

Wasn't really a mistake... The dyno's equipment read 11 on the 9.8 MAP. It was reading about 1.1 psi higher than the MAP sensor.

From what a lot have reported and posted, you won't gain a terrible amount from an exhaust on a SC.

allright ! i will dyno with the 2 exhaust ! to see difference! 70mm nvidia n1 and tanabe medalion. but i will need a 60mm testpipe for the 60mm tanabe to match the size.
