Default new to s2000, going turbo

I just picked up a used S2000 (2001) and am planning on installing a turbo in the near future. I've tried doing a search in all the different forums for info on the drivetrain and nothing is coming up? I just get a white screen saying my search is completed witha bunch of random numbers and symbols at the top. I've seen a few posts on it, not sure why they're not even coming up.

I'm planning on running around 320hp...350 max. I've heard horror stories about the drivetrain on these things. I am never going to launch my car, but I want to make sure it can handle the extra power. I plan on doing the clutch, but what other parts would be necessary? Again, I won't be launching the car, but would like to get on it a few times a week. Is the differential/drive shaft/etc... strong enough to hold the power from a roll?

Thanks guys! This forum looks awesome!

the stock drive train should be able to handle that amount of power without hard launches

I had 300rwkw (stock was 127rwkw) without breaking it on dyno or the road.

I've had 280 whp for a couple of weeks and with 38000 miles, my stock clutch is beginning to slip on fast shifts around redline. Luckily, I have my Exedy Hyper Single waiting under my bed

I have been running the setuup in my sig for a few months and have had no Problem and I do not luanch my S either. The only drivetrain mod I have is ACT clutch and CT flywheel.

Now if you find yourself ever luanching your S, you will start breaking things with 300whp+. I have heard of members bracking axles with stock setup.

i actually like oem clutch. i used to own rsx type s with greddy turbo. i put the turbo on around 45k miles on the motor and had the car til it hit 80k miles. stock oem clutch never slipped once. that just tells me i am a sick ass driver and these hondas are built very well.
