ok heres what i found in regards to a ZEX Direct Port kit which seems to be a good option.

So what i need is:

-the direct port kit http://www.compperformancegroupstores.com/...ory_Code=KitsDP

-The window switch http://www.compperformancegroupstores.com/...ory_Code=KitsDP

-The remote bottle valve opener (more so a want) http://www.compperformancegroupstores.com/...ory_Code=KitsDP

-Colder Plugs

Is that all i need if i plan on running a 75 shot? what do i use to retard timing (i believe this needs to be done to run the 75 shot?).

I dont think i need a bottle heater as our climate is quite warm, and in winter the coldest it will get to is about 8 degrees celcius

is there anything else that i may need? (does the kit come with a WOT sensor of some sort?, the website doesnt say what the kit comes with)

Im new to all this (nitrous isnt popular over here) so any tips would be appreciated. sorry for all the questions

john

hmm the ZEX kit is actually more pricey than the NOS kit. here are the equivalents in the NOS kit

http://holley.com/05030-FINOS.asp - the kit
http://holley.com/16058NOS.asp - bottle opener
http://holley.com/15982NOS.asp - window switch.

which would you buy? am i right in assuming the NOS one has a better reputation? any ideas on which kit is more "complete". Seems the main advantage of the ZEX one is the flex hoses?

hmm found a cheaper supplier on ebay who can supply the ZEX kits. also decided i really do not want the hardlines so i think the ZEX kit will be the way ill go.

in regards to the window switch, http://www.zex.com/Products/NitrousAccesso...ntrolSwitch.asp, does this negate the need to have a button to actually start the nos spray (like in fast and the furious buttons on the steering wheels lol). im assuming with the window switch, i simply arm the system, and when i reach the trigger for spraying the switch sprays automatically (and turns off when i go to change gears?).

Also looking at the installation guide, the nozzles draw fuel from an existing fuel line which is tee'd into. will this have an effect on fuel injection (in terms of pressure drop), or are the effects neglible?

I'm running Zex DP, it's easier to install without the hard lines but you need to buy these blue elbows in order for the zex kit to fit in our car if you go direct port, they ran me about $120 all together for 8 elbows.

I did not tune it, just splashed 100 octane fuel in there, I do this every so often when i go out with my friends for a quick blast. I will be tuning for 125 shot with AEM EMS very soon, that is what SC-Suzuka tuned with, he puts down near 340whp, thats the route i am going.

And yes, you can convert zex wet to direct port, the only difference is everything after the solenoids. My kit was originally a zex single fogger kit.

Lol your going his route and I'm about to go your route, I see 8, 7.5 inch lines and 4 nozzels, and you said 8 elbows. Including that other peice that the lines are connected to how much did the whole conversion end up costing
