you shouldnt need injectors or a tune if you're using a wet shot or direct port, as both of those supply nitrous AND fuel and are jetted appropriately (although it is possible to do a direct port shot without fuel I guess). You may need to upgrade your fuel pump just to be safe to make sure you can keep up with the additional fuel demands.

The f20 is probably one of the best motors you could spray with...forged Aluminum pistions, forged steel connecting rods, and 11:1 compression ratio. Do you want nitrous for drag racing?

With a 75 shot of wet or direct there is no need for tunning. I believe if you shot more than 75 than you may need some type of computer tunning.

ill keep it simple, if you want super elaborate, then PM me.
do use the direct setup. dont tap into your stock fuel system. i mean, you can if youd like, but i would never suggest that.
run a standalone fuel system, 1 gal cell, holley regulated pump, and do the aluminum lines for the fuel yourself. all under the hood, nice and clean.
biggest reason is, you have octane on demand when you do this. so aside from the safety of not robbing the rail, you can run leaded fuel, say VP import, C16, or late model plus. and you get not only the octane boost/lead, but you get top cyl lubricants also.
and since you want to run top end, runs/roll ons. make sure you go 2 steps colder plug, instead of 1.
more safety items. run a wideband gauge, and EGT gauge. first few pulls, 5-7 tenths of a mile, try and shoot for high 10's say 10.8 AFR, and then do a plug check. from a 60 roll, you should be able to pull off 160 mph, in 17-20 seconds.
if your EGT starts going over 1300, watch close, and dont let it get higher than 1600 F. if so, back out. you can prob go as lean as 11.4 afr, but thats pushing it.
if it were 1/4 mile, ok, but youll be in it for a long ways, and dynamic cyl pressure goes up, and so do cyl temps. raising the chance of preignition. or detonation.
as for the window switch, i like to spray low, but i can build my own motor. so for your safety, id say dont window any lower than 3500 rpm. and shut it off 300 or so before fuel cut. if your ap1, window at 8900, if your ap2, window at 8000.
have fun owning people. let me know if you need any help. laters dave

p.s get drag radials. you will have traction issues.

No offense, but after reading what you wrote, and how you wrote it, based on the number of days you've been on here you probably just got your car and is in the younger generation. NOS is "affordable" horse power when you need it but still requires a fair resonable amount of research and homework.

As s2000nvegas mentioned, he from his experience with NOS, knows quite a bit of knowledge. His route maybe the most safe and reliable/piece of mind operation of running nos, however you need to think about which way you want to go with FI. See how much you want to spend, and do it the right way from square one, rather then risk your motor doing it the wrong way.

Im not a big fan of NOS, but it is a reliable and affordable source of power. Good luck with which ever way you go, and welcome to the board.
