Default Nitrous tank disassbley

So I have had an on going head ache with my nitrous system, but i'm very dedicated to the cause. I have a tank and when I purge I just get compressed air and I know its full. of nitrous but i just get air. Juiced said that the pickup tube in the nitrous bottle was out so I called zex and they said it was possible to disassemble the tank and check but wouldnt really give me tons of info.

I have a large wrench that fits on the valve but it just wont turn and if I am finally able to get it to turn will I be able to get it air tight again? Should I have a professional do this? If so where would I find some one that would be able to do it?

It should twist off, but should be on very tight. I can't remember how it seals though, but you can put it back on.

I would check out this forum and ask them. Theres a main group of 4-5 guys that post on there that really know their stuff. Sometimes it takes a few days for a response though.

But if the pickup tube fell out, you should hear it rattling on the inside....

I would just have a scuba shop do it. They'll have everything necessary to do it right.

I DO hear something rattling around. So maybe this is my problem

So I finally got the valve off and found that the rattling is coming from with in the valve its self. The tube is connected and looks good its self....

Yea I may do that. The rattling stopped when the valve was completely opened or closed.. I do not see anything that is obviously wrong

The valve shouldn't rattle at all. I would guess thats the issue.

Check your local craigslist. You can find 10 lb bottles for cheap or see if you can borrow someones and pay them a few bucks for using there bottle to test it and use their nitrous.
